The RSP TIS Suppliers and Accreditation website pages provide information on TIS standards and accreditation for Ticketing, Gating and Settlement in the UK passenger rail industry. Their purpose is to provide TIS Suppliers with a single point of reference and an end to end route map for accreditation, indicating timescales and costs and providing a clear process and standards. Through the provision of clear information, we aim to encourage participation in the industry and reduce barriers to market entry for TIS Suppliers.
This is the first stage of any TIS accreditation process. The TIS sponsor must contact RSP to inform them of any proposed TIS developments. It is important to ensure that RSP are given notice of new developments to allow them sufficient time to schedule the required accreditation activities within the TIS Sponsor's planned go-live date. Ideally, RSP should be contacted prior to finalising the TIS design process so that their comments may be fed into the design process.
Please contact Melvin Mayes (020 7841 8097) in order to commence the initial discussions, for current information on TIS Accreditation Standards, and allocation of a password to access the documentation.
