ATOC Statement On Train Incident

Commenting on the incident on Saturday 6th November when the 17.35 London to Plymouth train service struck a motor vehicle at a level crossing at Ufton Nervet near Reading, George Muir, ATOC Director General said: 

“We are all deeply saddened by this tragic accident. Our thoughts are with the injured and those who have lost loved ones.

“We are very grateful for the swift and professional response of all the emergency services in attending the incident and for the care and attention they and railway staff provided for the passengers.
