ATOC Comments On Network Rail 2005 Business Plan
31/03/2005Commenting on Network Rail’s 2005 Business Plan, George Muir, Director General of the Association of Train Operating Companies said:
"We're pleased to see Network Rail's improved timekeeping and efficiency savings which are good news for train operators and for passengers.
"Train operators welcome the thrust of Network Rail's 2005 business plan in particular the continuing investment programme to improve the railway while making every penny count.
"There are now many visible signs that the railway is changing for the better and this plan by Network Rail is a further indicator that the rail industry as a whole is determinedly tackling punctuality head on - and delivering results.”
