Record punctuality on railways - Train Companies respond

In response to new figures from Network Rail showing a record 94% of trains arriving on time across the country in April, a spokesperson for the Association of Train Operating Companies said:

“Train companies’ hard work with the rest of the rail industry continues to bring historically high levels of punctuality, which means real improvements in services for passengers.

“However, train companies are not complacent and will continue to work with Network Rail in an effort to improve services even further for customers.”
