Andy Pitt

Managing Director, South West Trains

Stagecoach Group Managing Director Andy Pitt has more than 26 years' experience in the passenger rail industry.

Formerly Business Development Director for Stagecoach, he has also held a number of senior management roles within British Railways, including at the South Wales and West regional railways division, and the Office of Passenger Rail Franchising. In 1997, he was appointed Commercial Director at South West Trains and in 1999 became Deputy Managing Director.

After taking on the role of Stagecoach Rail Business Development Director in 2001, Andy oversaw the development of the Group's franchise bids, including the successful submissions for South Western and East Midlands.
